    Terrible remote

The magic remote that comes with the tv is terrible. The pointer constantly comes on and makes selecting apps difficult. There is no option to turn it off. Whoever designed it, clearly didn’t use it. The remote can be replaced with a universal so its not the end of the world. Everything else about the tv works very well so far.

Best picture quality, but very slow

The picture quality, free movies from LG and other good stuff, but it is very slow whenever I am navigating through apps or launching an app.

    nice tv

I have nothing but good things to say about this tv, EXCEPT that you should be aware of the terms and conditions associated with your purchase. READ them, they explicitly state that they will collect and sell your data. They will collect this data from a couple of sources, so if you value your privacy, take precautions. As soon as I got this, I started getting more emails from sources that I didn’t know. Not sure if they are related but the emails showed up shortly after I agreed to the terms. The TV is great, just make sure you are comfortable with the T’s & C’s.

Excellent TV for family room viewing.

Picture quality is outstanding just like my other LG TV’s. Easily mounted on my existing wall bracket and works with my Dishtv remote control, without having to use the included LG remote control. Will continue to buy LG brand TV, but wish they made one in 24-inch size with a built-in DVD player.

    Thumbs Up

For the money it’s a 5. I have never set up a TV before that creates a great picture out the box. I guess the AI chip senses the light properly. Didn’t make any picture changes and it is pleasing to the eyes. Great buy.

    Worse than Worthless

LG should be ashamed of this and all 2023 model televisions they have released. WebOS is now broken in many ways. For example, it cannot properly handle on-screen text, including captions and subtitles. A consequence of this flaw (aside from the obvious) is that vital apps which used to (and still) run on every LG television since 2016 will NOT even install on the 2023 models. Furthermore, the new WebOS requires login! That is horrific and wrong, but far WORSE, the stupid WebOS automatically logs the owner out, without input nor warning. That is criminal.Adding insult to the time-wasting injury of having one of these worse-than-worthless devices is that LG “customer service” is rude, useless, gleefully evil, and flatly refuses to address any problem nor provide any solutions.Everyone affiliated with the making and “support” of these 2023 LG televisions should be locked up.

    So far so good.

Had the TV for about 5-6 weeks now. Picture is good. Sound is a tad hallow, but not anything bad. I’m happy with the purchase.

Low End LG’s are the best

Got this 2 days after release. I always like to have the latest low end lg . this is a solid tv for general purpose.

Wait for the price to drop!

I’ve barely gotten it out of the box and it is now listed here for $30 less than I paid for it. I overpaid – you shouldn’t!The TV itself feels about average for this size. The picture is good, but not insanely great. The remote is unnecessarily complex – it has a point-to-move-the-cursor feature that works for some things and not others, even within LG’s operating system functions, but the only “OK” button is also the wheel that activates the cursor. The OTA tuner picks up 10% fewer channels than the cheap Insignia it is replacing. The audio is tinny so I’ll have to find a way to wedge in some kind of sound bar.The box and the TV itself all have “New for 2023” language on them but I really can’t find a practical difference between this and the older model.Overall, meh, but I overpaid for meh!

    Disappointing

The sound is terrible. Does not compare to the Panasonic 2006 RV that I just got rid of in order to buy this. May return it due to this.. Picture is decent. The remote is ridiculous and works on a pointer rather than straightforward clicker.

Great for streaming and gaming. Clean picture. Super thin and light. 4 1/2 stars

I really like the quality of this LG led tv. The tv is perfect for streaming and gaming. I needed a tv in the bedroom where I have no connections. I planned to use wifi and plug in a dvd player. The set came with most of the streaming service apps I normally use. I hung it on the wall with an inexpensive mount, $20, I got on Salesdirect. The set is so thin and light I hung it by myself. Wifi connection was super easy. I watched a few movies on Prime and Netflix and there were no issues. Picture was smooth and clean. Built in sound is pretty decent, just have to find the right mode for your environment. There are also channels included with the LG channel service for free. Comes with their magic remote control also. The picture is not quite oled and if you watch at an angle it washes out a little, but for the price it’s a great deal. Plus its an LG. Great tv for bedroom or location where there is no cable connection. I recommend this product and give it 4 1/2 stars.

    Great Picture

I love the tv – hate the remote. The picture quality is unreal – incredibly crisp and clear. The menu is a little cantankerous and the remote is terrible. It’s a “magic” remote that allows you to point rather than scroll. It’s cumbersome and the ball thing is too sensitive. I would rather have just a regular remote that was less finicky. Overall, I think the tv is great and would be excellent if a different remote option were available.

    Great Budget tv option

LG 43-Inch Class UR9000 Series Alexa Built-in 4K Smart TV (3840 x 2160), Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB, Ethernet, HDMI 60Hz Refresh Rate, AI-Powered 4KThe thin profile makes this television perfect for wall mountingSimple to put togetherEasy to set up; plug in and follow on-screen instructions. The power cord was surprisingly short especially compared to other televisions I own. When first plugged in, it is automatically set for the visually impaired and will read the instructions. The remote pairing was simple and quickGreat picture and soundThe remote trackpad feature takes a bit to get used to but is highly functional once you get the hang of itSpeak to talk feature with the remote can use some work, especially for those who have a drawl, as the majority of the time, it is not correctly searching what was spokenThe Lg app portion is terrific and straightforward to use when it works. Unfortunately, it has crashed numerous times during usageAll in all, a great budget smart tv

high in features in budget tv

i set this up in my bedroom and it was really simple to get it up and running. i have a bigger oled tv from lg and there’s not a ton of difference in features. the picture quality is surprising at this budget. not oled quality, but great for a bedroom or small living room. i really like the fact that they even added a magic motion remote at this price. my older budget lg had a basic remote that was a pain to use. i also like that it has wifi built in so i can put it anywhere i want as long as i can get power to it. browsing through netflix and other streaming apps is so much easier when i can just point at the screen and move the cursor with the remote.

    Worth it!

Good tv for the price point. The picture quality is decent. This tv has a lot of the online streaming features built in. So you don’t need a separate box or fire stick. The bonus online lg channels are great too, especially when you don’t have cable. Really my only complaint about this tv is the remote. I just wish the buttons were a little more tactile, so that I could tell them apart when I’m watching tv in the dark. But I could always get a different remote for it. The tv itself is great and exceeded my expectations.

    6 years later

The tv will no longer consistently stream. It is hit or miss, with no predictability. After a month of troubleshooting, a tv technician told me this is a common problem with “older” LG televisions. The work around is an expensive ($250) fix or use another streaming method, i.e. Roku, Apple etc.

Whats the value of a TV if it cant stand?

The stand apparatus for this TV has got to me some of the worst cost cutting Ive seen, the thing looks like it can hardly stand on them. I honestly and about to take them off, repackage it and get my return.

    BIG bang for buck

While there are options out there for a much more advanced and sophisticated viewing experience. You cannot beat the size for the price of this smart TV. Easy installation and set up. Really happy with this buy.
